The inspiration of Per Andersson, Velour was born in 1997 when Andersson began rummaging through the accumulation of garments clothing left over from his grandmother’s now closed ready-to-wear store (the shop closed in the mid-80s following 50 years in business) and started to design clothes inspired by the pieces found in the od shop.
