Brixton Hats
At UrbanExcess, we love Brixton Hats. After an impressive Fall campaign, the California-based label have expanded their apparel line with a new collection for winter and we’ve been working hard to bring you a pick of the best.
The Brixton Ltd Holiday ’09 Collection comprises some great outerwear pieces, highlighted by the Brixton Sham Jacket, a cafe motorcycle style piece with a tailored fit and plaid lining, and the Debaser Jacket, a grey wool, vintage inspired military jacket with a tailored fit.
The So Cal-based hat designers haven’t lost their focus though – their new range of hats is as strong as ever.
First up are the caps: the Brixton Wheeler is a classic mesh contrast snapback Trucker Cap with large BRXTN embroidered patch, whilst the Station Trucker Hat is a solid colour snapback featuring the BRXTN branding and puma design.
Then there’s a new spin on some old favourites – the Fiddler BakerBoy Cap is now available in both brown tweed and navy, the Brood NewBoy Capincludes brown herringbone and brown plaid, and the Gain Crushable Felt Trilby now comes in Moss Brown.
Finally, to beat the winter chill, look no further than the Brixton Raglan Military Cap. This wool hat is a twist on the popular military cap style with a unique cuff design and button detailing.

Brixton Hats Fall ‘09
Inspired by music, culture, and the people who surround them, Brixton Hats Ltd is the collaboration of three friends who wanted to convey their lifestyle through unique products.
Their Fall ‘09 sees an expanse of their Clothing collection from Flannel Check Shirts with silk lining through to the Sham Motorcycle Jacket.
