Goorin Hats Holiday ‘10

We’re big fans of Goorin Hats at UE. From their beginning on the cobblestone streets of Pittsburgh Pennsylvania when founder Cassel Goorin sold his first hat off a horse and cart in 1895, they have offered timeless classic styles – hats that allow you to make a statement without having to say a word.

We’ve had some new styles hit the store, so if you’re after some new headwear, have a look at some of the new Goorin goodies available…

If Goorin Trilbies are your hat of choice, then head in the direction of the Goorin Moretti Trilby, Goorin Paddy Whacked Trilby and the Goorin London Flip Up Trilby. The Moretti is a classic pinstripe trilby featuring a custom woven headband that will keep you looking sharp, the Paddy Whacked is a stingy brim not for the feint of heart, with a bold combination of houndstooth body and striped grosgrain band and the London Flip Up is the new Goorin stingy brim shape made with a Fall plaid, complementary grosgrain band, and a soft cotton twill lining for comfort.

Goorin are just as good at creating classic beanies as they are trilbies, and the Goorin Acorn proves it. A retro throwback, this beanie features a jacquard pattern and rolled edge.

A new take on a popular style, the Forrest Slopde Cadet offers the original cadet style but with a textured herringbone design and classic lining.

If you’re into bold statements, the Goorin Lil’ Tony is a new a new medley of hat making techniques made of 100% wool and featuring embroidered rose artwork, a black triple pleated band, and plaid brim.
